Dear members,
Lately I have noticed that our chairman truly has the association at heart, he is always at the open day selling his studies and the association. He is never too prominent and is always a fine face for the association. Kjell Zandman always involves himself with other board members to put down great things, as he always calls it. Truly ‘vo for our twenty-fourth chairman.
The most underappreciated role, that of the treasurer, is filled beautifully by Martijn Haverkort. Martijn always deserves a capital “M”. Always on time with the direct debits and never late paying out expense claims, Martijn is right on top of it. And he can party like no other autist, despite his surplus of stimuli.
Niek Scholten, our internal affairs and commissioner of educational affairs, is quite a pleasant guy always a smooth talker, and if something is ever neglected, which is rare these days, there is always a proper excuse and Scholten makes sure it gets sorted. The committees are running wonderfully; things are really picking up steam with Scholten.
And not least: the external commissioner and also importantly, vice-chairman, Thijs Wentink stands, when the chairman is absent, above the secretary in the constitutional order. Thijs is the most alert board member; I would be too if I were on speed, Thijs never stands still. He rearranges the Watt roomevery week and never takes the credit. Thijs works like a horse and moves like a spear.
