I (Julia) have had the idea for a while now to make a hug tier list of people within Watt. I have devised this list based on a set of criteria that I’ve tried to make as objective as possible.
And, if you’re not on there, that probably means I haven’t given you enough hugs yet to make an accurate judgement!
The criteria, in order of importance, are:
- Strength of the hug
- Firmness of the hug
- Softness of the hug
- Comfort of hug positioning
- Fit of the hug
- Reciprocity of engagement with the hug
There are also criteria I am not taking into account in order to remain objective. These, to me, do not really dictate the quality of the hug itself, though they can influence perception:
- Emotional connection or intent behind the hug
- Enthusiasm behind the hug
- Duration of the hug
So without further ado, here is the tier list!
(Sorry Gideon… I personally do like your hugs, but that is not based on the criteria that I’m judging on. However, still an honorable mention.)
