As some of you might know I've a car I like to work on.
This car still didn't have an antenna after 5 months so I still couldn't listen to radio. After having the nessesarry parts ready for weeks I just now tried to install them this weekend.
Installing an antenna isn't as easy as it seems, just bolt it on and run the wire. To get to the remainder of the old antenna I've had to jack up the car, remove a wheel, remove the inside of the fender and saw it away because it was to rusty to remove the nut. Now I could just bolt the new antenna on, connect it and test it. Unfortualty the wire had an internal fracture so it still didt work. At the end of the day I've put the wheel back on and had to wait for monday (today) and get a new wire to run.
I've just finished jacking up my car again, running the new wire and finally I have radio in my car. This was a 10 minute job taking over 4 hours of work, so much for relaxation.
I hope you've had a better weekend and I hope to see you in the Watthok soon!
Hello my sweet underlings :)
It's the third week of the schoolyear and it's time for the first board talks. This year we're going to put special effort to make the international students more at home at the study association. So rejoice because this year we'll have an English board talk every week :D. Also last week we had our first international activity of the year, which wasn't as highly visited as hoped, but it was still a lot of fun :). I’m looking forward to get to know the lot of you this year (internationals and Dutch students).
See you soon in the ‘Watthok’!
