Association

Study Association Watt is the study association for Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Computer Science and Nanotechnology at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede. The association is named after the Scottish inventor and engineer James Watt, who, among other things, improved the steam engine that was just developed at the time so that it could be used effectively.

S.A. Watt aims to represent the interests of its members; promoting interest in all underlying studies; and promoting contacts between students. The study association also wants to bring members into contact with other natural scientists and the society.

The association has been striving for this since its foundation (13 June 2005). Since then, members are introduced to the possibilities offered by the underlying studies during and after the study in a fun way. We do this by organizing interesting excursions, lectures and study afternoons, as well as by organizing pleasant drinks.
