Hey there members,
The first board talk of this college year has finally arrived! This will be my first board talk as well. A lot has already happened since the summer holiday. It was definitely a change of pace for me to be organizing the activities we’ve had. I’ve done some commissions before I became a board member so I was somewhat familiar with the work it took but it still surprised me. Even though it took me some time to get used to it, I have enjoyed nearly every second so far.
We started this year properly with the first ever visit of the international students to our introduction camp! I hope the people that joined us had a great time and I know that next year we will be able to further increase the experience for all the new international students. Fast forward to another amazing activity that was held on Monday last week. After stepping up as the 16th board of the study association we definitely needed to celebrate, and thus our constitutional drink was held. It was amazing to see all the other board members and our own members mingle and enjoy the evening. We got lots of great presents as well as some lesser presents, but we appreciate them all.
A lot has happened but sadly I can only mention a little. I just want to end with saying that I look forward to being a board member for a year and that I will be able to keep the study association we all know and love running.
